Improve the word processing a la MS Word. Add an "undo" button (this is huge because I often lose my work if I've highlighted something and then inadvertantly hit delete), add the ability to align paragraphs (with indentions), improve line spacing (which is very clunky), improve cutting and pasting from other programs (including the ability to seemlessly paste hyperlinks more easily), improve printing options (by adding the ability to customize footers, etc.), the ability to have more options upon a "right click."

It would be incredible if you could create a feature that allows you to somehow hyperlink with bibliographic entries in Zotero (1) to save time entering bibliographic information and (2) to be able to access files (like full documents) already attached to Zotero so that you don't to redundantly attach the file to NoteScribe.

There does not appear to be any control over where the notescribe database is stored. Many people use USB sticks or fileservers or some sort of synchronisation process. To assist them, I suggest:

1/ The location of the database be user controlled (from preferences)
2/ A default subdirectory (eg Attachments) be created in that location and "Add attachment in default location" be another button next to "Add new attachment" in the Attach files dialog

The default skin colours are too heavy. Dark blue, green and browns. Too distracting. Let's have a way to change the skin, or at least tone down these heavy colours.

Once I have created one or more keywords for a note, I would like future notes to have the list of existing keywords accessible as a drop down box (or checklist etc) so I don't have to retype and I can have consistency with minimal effort

There should be a quicker way to navigate to notes within a category tree. Perhaps, modify the functionality of category label mouse clicks to - single mouse click goes to the first note of that category, double click expands/contracts the category. the only other way for me to go directly to a note in a category is to clear all categories and then turn on the notes for the category. It is pretty cumbersome. I am new to NoteScribe, so if someone knows of an efficient way to go to a note via the category bar please post your solution.

So far, I have not been able to figure out how you can search not just keywords, etc., but also content of attached files. It would be nice to have that option available.

To see the calendar, you have to explicitly open it. It would be nice if a "mini" version could be docked somewhere on the main screen so that I could see which days have events/reminders.

The source can have page numbers (as is appropriate, since a source may be a particular paper etc), but I would also like to attach a page number to a particular note. This is useful when doing a quote etc. It's easy enough to have the page number in the text but a separate field would enable sorting by source and page

and other non-publish sources, so give us a blank type to fill out with our own files

A great idea would be to update the desktop version. The desktop version has all the signs of a failing and dying software program. Outdated site, no updates in a while, old posts. Update it and they will come.

It would be nice if the notes window that opens up when you add a new note was integrated in the main window. The ;main window works with Window 7's split screen feature but the notes window doesn't, thus, I'm always having to manually resize it as I split my programs often between NoteScribe and the program (i.e., browswer, study program) that I'm taking the notes from.

I have several notebooks that deal with different topics within the same subject matter and sometimes use the same resource. It would be nice to be able to pull-in a source from another notebook, if necessary.

I realise there is the option to add an online source to the sources. However, I think it would be useful to also allow online sources to be linked in the 'attached files' section so a copy is not required

You should make it that if you choose a category (or multiple categories) you can automatically generate a bibliography of all sources cited in the category. This would be better than always having to manually choose sources to add to a bibliography.
